Anta - Character Sketch

This “unfaithful” mallu kutty, is one of the most hyper enthused souls in the wing, bubbling with enthusiasm and ready to lighten up hearts. Think about Anta and the first thing that strikes you is her cleanliness. She is probably the only person in the wing who has managed to keep every possession of hers out of reach from most people. She is a daughter any parent would love to have for she returns home every semester with almost the same bank balance she came in with.

This girl entered into BITS as an innocent calm girl apprehensive of new relations and dreading conversations with boys. People who had known her from then would be taken aback by the transformation she has undergone. From nothing but classes and bhawan in the first sem, to beauty parlours ,gym, reidi and anc in psenti sem, she has come a long way. Talk about diet and you get a big “NO”. This ex-president of the gundu, mandu, fundoo club of BITS Pilani loves good food in any form.

One of the gravest mistakes of her lives has been BE Computer science in BITS Pilani, given a chance she would readily have made a transfer to Civil for she is in love with constructions, be it with cement or hearts. Card games on trains probably help her with laying the foundation and this supplemented with emails, bridge the remaining gap. But a guy would need much more effort to win her love.

She claims she’s still waiting for HER guy , we really pity her husband who has to put up with all her weird principles. Residing in the city of Coimbatore, Anta likes being traditional her favourite outfit is sal, sorry, I meant sal. She is so devotional that she must have used more notebooks for writing SriRam a Jayam than for taking notes.

Her unmatched ability of laughing at the most inappropriate times has taught us to pray we never come across her when we are with a guy. Trust her to spoil a perfect date with just a laugh!!! Her leisure activities in psenti sem ranged from fantasizing about certain things which are better left unsaid, to watching the worst of movies. Her reactions are totally unpredictable and if she says she hates a movie, you can rest assured that it would be the best of movies and you would love it.

She fluctuates between an overly enthused and effervescent personality to a highly moody and reserved one and the latter one had better not be witnessed. Her decisions too are as capricious as her moods. An enthusiastic member of PEP and EDC prod, Anitha is a very caring and affectionate friend, open and straightforward and a great person to be with. Wishing her the very best in life.
